SberLeasing and PC Transport Systems presented the innovative Korsar tram at the SPIEF.
71-921 Korsar is the first Russian narrow-gauge two-section low-floor tram car. The first units rolled off the production line at the end of 2020, and at the beginning of 2021 the tram successfully passed operational tests and obtained the Certificate of the tram car conformity with statutory requirements permitting its commercial production. The stylish design is intended to make Corsair tram a real decoration of urban streets.
The new tram car, as well as all other products of PC Transport Systems, can be acquired on hire-purchase (financial leasing) terms. Working with the public sector is one of the core businesses of SberLeasing, and leasing today is the key tool for financing programs of the public transport fleet upgrade in the RF regions. The company actively participates in the discussion and elaboration of initiatives focused on the comprehensive development and upgrade/replacement of the fleet and successfully cooperates with regional administrations in this sphere. SberLeasing is distinguished by its high-class industry expertise, partnership with reliable producers and favorable terms of financial leasing programs.
There are 29 seats in Corsar vehicle. Maximum passenger capacity is 177 passengers. Maximum autonomous run distance is 1000 metres. Its one hundred percent low-floor design makes the car more comfortable and accessible for people with limited mobility, it fully meets the requirements of the governmental program for Accessible Environment.
The interior was designed with the use of aluminum alloys. Their use in the interior design makes the new tram the most fireproof in its segment, as well as the wear-resistant one. The climate control system is integrated in the interior, there are media complexes, USB connectors and Wi-Fi routers.
The passive safety system reduces the risks of injury to passengers and the driver and also protects the core structures of the car in the event of emergency collision.
The driver's cabin has maximum visibility and ergonomics. It has an outdoor video monitoring system to monitor passengers loading and unloading areas and the traffic. Apart from the above, the tram has a low specific energy consumption for traction, thereby reducing the energy costs of the operating organization.
In total, the company's model range includes eight low-floor trams, two modifications of Admiral trolleybus with increased autonomous run and the innovative Pioneer electric bus. All these products can be purchased on attractive financial leasing terms.
