PC Transport Systems has completed a contract for the supply of nine modern tram cars to Perm. Eight of them are compact single-section trams 71-911 EM "Lionet", which combine the advanced developments of PC Transport Systems. Another tram, delivered under the contract back in 2019, is 71-934 Lev. It is a capacious three-section, two-way tram car with a length of 34.7 meters.

“Thanks to the high quality of materials, innovative technologies, well-thought-out ergonomics and design, the Lion and Lionet trams meet all modern requirements for passenger comfort, as well as operational efficiency, which were presented by the customer,” notes Andrey Yukhnenko, Commercial Director of PC Transport Systems. - We are very pleased that seven Lion's trams, delivered to Perm in early April, have entered the city's line. The new trams 71-911 EM "Lionet" and 71-934 "Lion" are equipped with satellite navigation, information boards, a passenger traffic accounting system, air conditioners, an external video control system for embarkation and disembarkation zones, and monitoring of the traffic situation. Both models are completely low-floor and are suitable for transporting passengers with limited mobility. A single-section tram can accommodate at least 110 people, and a three-section tram - at least 250. "Lion" and "Lionet" have the ability to run autonomously and can travel up to one kilometer without power from the contact network. Moreover, both models are made of modern fireproof materials.

“It is very convenient and comfortable,” says passenger Svetlana Korosteleva. - There is no need to climb the steps, the tram runs very smoothly, the cabin is quiet, you can see on the screens what the stop is, if you suddenly get distracted and don't hear. I really like".

“When we saw new trams in sunny weather, we simply could not help but ride it,” says Natalya Ogurtsova. - The streets of the city even look different, as in Europe, when such new trams run on them.  PC Transport Systems entered into an agreement with the Perm administration for the supply of eight Lion's tram cars and one Lev tram in November 2019. At the beginning of December, a three-section tram "Lion" and one single-section "Lion" were delivered to the city. The remaining seven units 71-911 EM "Lionet" by PC Transport Systems were to be shipped to Perm by May 1, 2020, but the company fulfilled its obligations ahead of schedule - in early April all trams were transferred to MUP "Permelectrotrans". On April 27, all trams supplied by PC Transport Systems entered city lines and began transporting services to the population.
